Theatre Art Camp - Summer Session #1

It's hard to believe that we have come to the end of our journey with our Neighborhood Puzzle Art Exhibition. All of us are very sad to see the beautiful puzzle pieces come down off the walls. . . .

Someone asked me the other day, "Was it worth it?"
And I responded "ABSOLUTELY! YES! There is never an event that it is not worth the effort. We learn and grow from every event and experience we go through."

Through this experience, we all learned A LOT about LOVE. Think about it....Over 2,000 puzzle pieces made straight from 2,000 hearts. . . .which in turn filled the gallery with nothing but LOVE and LIGHT from 2,000 unique individuals telling their own unique story.

I will always remember the smiles on the faces of everyone that walked into the gallery and looked up at our walls. You could see the love radiating from their eyes. . . .You could feel the love!!

Many would tell me "they got chills" just looking at the pieces. . . .and I would respond by saying "being surrounded by nothing but LOVE can do that to a person. . ." You end up getting lost in all the LOVE that surrounds you.

Tonight . . . .I had the opportunity to have the gallery all to myself. I stood in the middle of the room, I closed my eyes and I took a deep breath and breathed it all in. . . .and as I stood in the silence. . . .I breathed in the love. . . .I felt the love (like a giant hug). . .and I could hear Mister Rogers saying:

"As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has, or ever will have - something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing it's expression."

And that is exactly what we were able to do with this project.

Thank You Tim Kelly for helping more than 15,000 unique individuals be able to discover their uniqueness, develop their expression, and be able to tell their story through the Puzzle Art Project. You have made us realize how special we are and that we all have a purpose in this world. . .

For a wise man once told me. . . .ANYTHING is possible in this world. . . .for "If you Imagine It. . . .it will happen. . . ."

And it did. . .and we are forever grateful for you helping us honor and remember the life and legacy of Mister Fred Rogers. We couldn't have done it any other way.
