Like What You Paint with Debbie King is an intermediate-level watercolor class designed to help you strengthen both your skills and your creative confidence. Through guided discussion and hands-on exploration of design principles, watercolor techniques, and creative problem-solving, students will learn how to transform personal ideas into finished paintings they’ll be proud to display. This class is ideal for artists looking to refine their style, push their creativity, and—most importantly—create work they truly enjoy.

Please bring your own supplies, including paper, watercolor paints, and brushes. Reference photos will be provided for inspiration.
Palette Knife Oil Painting with Becky Mormack
Dates: Saturdays, Feb. 28th, March 14th, April 25th, and May 30th
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Cost:
$35 per class or $125 for all four classes

Expand your oil painting skills with local artist Becky Mormack, and explore the technique of painting with a palette knife. Learn to lay the paint on thick to create a rich painting full of energy, freshness and texture. Intermediate Level Course.

Intro. to Matting & Framing with Eileen Yeager
Dates: Wednesdays, April 22, April 29, May 6, & May 13 (4-weeks total)
Time: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

$135 Members | $150 Non-Members + $25 Supplies (paid to instructor)

Learn the fundamentals of Matting and Framing, excellent for artists, collectors or anyone interested in getting into the framing business. Students will learn design, basic and custom mats, mathematics of framing, preservation techniques, knowledge of tools, hands-on matcutting, as well as mounting and pre-cut frame assembly. Participants will take home their framed creation at the end of the course.

BRAND NEW Mural Art Camp!
Calling all artists ages 12-18!
Led by local artist Katelyn Buchan, explore your creativity, build community, and create a collaborative mural from start to finish!
Dates: August 10-15 & 17-19 (9 Days Total)*
Times: 3:00 - 5:30 PM (all weekdays) & 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Saturday, August 15*)
Cost: FREE*
*$50 registration fee will be refunded in full on the last day of the camp based on camper attendance.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 2 weeks prior to the start date of the class will be issued a full refund less a 25% processing fee. All requests for refunds must be made in writing to info@latrobeartcenter.org. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to the start date of the class will be issued a 50% refund. Emergency exceptions will be made at the discretion of Latrobe Art Center.
