Oil Painting Workshop with Jonelle Summerfield
Date: Saturday & Sunday, November 14 & 15

Join artist Jonelle Summerfield for a two-day oil painting workshop exploring the art of still life painting! On the first day, participants will paint directly from life, focusing on composition, color, and capturing everyday objects on canvas. On the second day, participants will have the option to take their still life paintings a step further by incorporating them into an interior room setting using photographic references. Whether you choose to explore this additional challenge or continue developing your still life, this workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to strengthen your oil painting skills and explore your creativity!

Please bring your own supplies. (See below.) Tabletop easels and paper towels will be provided.
Canvas or panels: 2-4 canvases of your choice from 6" x 8" to 9" x 12". I suggest oil or acrylic primed linen.
Brushes: flat synthetic #2,4,8 & 12; Bristle #4 & 8
Oil Paint: I recommend Gamblin or Rembrandt, but Utrecht is also good

Oil Painting with Doreen Currie
Date: Mondays, October 5, 12, 19, & 26

Painting from photographs as well as still life settings, Doreen develops students’ skills in mixing color, value, and brushwork. A class for all experience levels.

Calling all artists ages 12-18!
Led by local artist Katelyn Buchan, explore your creativity, build community, and create a collaborative mural from start to finish!

*$50 registration fee will be refunded in full on the last day of the camp based on camper attendance. Please choose a preference. Exact dates will be determined based on number of attendees and preference.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 2 weeks prior to the start date of the class will be issued a full refund less a 25% processing fee. All requests for refunds must be made in writing to info@latrobeartcenter.org. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to the start date of the class will be issued a 50% refund. Emergency exceptions will be made at the discretion of Latrobe Art Center.
