Island Crowns with Gracefully Bloomed Creations (Adult Workshop)

Perfect for a night out with friends or a unique self-care experience, this adult-only class will guide you step-by-step through the art of lei po’o making using fresh, vibrant blooms. "Like What You Paint" with Debbie King: An Intermediate Watercolor Painting Course

Moana Story Time & Crafts with Gracefully Bloomed Creations

  • Join artist Debbie King for an intermediate level watercolor painting class focused on design, technique, and developing your own vision into a frame-worthy work of art!

    Registration Required.

  • Students need to bring their own paper, watercolor paints, and brushes and will paint their own ideas. Reference photos will be provided if needed for inspiration.

Watercolor Painting with Peg Panasiti

Dates: Tuesdays, October 7, 14, 21, & 28
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m

  • Have some fun with watercolors as Peg Panasiti shows you how to start, develop, and put the finishing touches on your creation. Each week a new still life subject will be set up for you to paint with step-by-step instructions.

Oil Painting with Doreen Currie

Dates: Mondays, October 6, 13, 30, 27

  • Painting from photographs as well as still life settings, Doreen develops students’ skills in mixing color, value, and brushwork. A class for all experience levels.

Mixed Media with Sue Hrubes 

Dates: Wednesdays, September 24 and October 1, 8, 15, & 22
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

  • Part mixed-media class, part basic drawing class, Sue Hrubes will broaden your understanding of what can be achieved using a pencil, watercolor or acrylic paints, and mixed media. Don’t be afraid—think outside the box! A class for all experience levels.

    In this series, students will create wintery scenes by painting a matte medium/water mixture on paper, wiping away any mistakes, and adding ice skaters!

Children’s “Hootin’ Halloween” Party

Saturday, October 25th

“A Very Merry Gingerbread” Children’s Holiday Party!

Saturday, December 13th
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Cost:
$25 per child

  • Celebrate the holiday season at Latrobe Art Center, and paint a festive gingerbread man, decorate cookies (to eat!), and enjoy a pizza lunch!

    Pre-Registration is Required.

Mixed Media with Sue Hrubes

Dates: Wednesdays, November 12, 19 and December 3, 10, & 17

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 2 weeks prior to the start date of the class will be issued a full refund less a 25% processing fee. All requests for refunds must be made in writing to info@latrobeartcenter.org. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to the start date of the class will be issued a 50% refund. Emergency exceptions will be made at the discretion of Latrobe Art Center.
