#HomeStudioLAC

Stuck at home in the name of social distancing?

Now is the perfect time to get your creative juices flowing with #HomeStudioLAC!

What is #HomeStudioLAC? It is a series of simple, or more detailed, art tutorials that will be posted once a month to give you and/or your family the opportunity to be inspired and use your creativity from the comfort of home. You can also view the art tutorials by LAC staff and artists on our YouTube Channel, Facebook page, and Twitter!

Not an artist? Learn some art techniques with materials that can be found in your home! Or just appreciate the skills of our amazing local artist friends.

Are you the artsy type? We need your help! If you are an artist, a crafter, or just a dabbler in the arts, we want to share what you create! This could be your particular brand of art, or a simple tutorial on a basic technique, or experimenting with a new technique or method. We'll take anything--from how to draw a simple cat, to thumbprint art, to paper mache, to "happy trees," and even toilet-paper origami!

All you need is a smartphone, or a digital camera and a laptop to upload the videos, and a few minutes of your time! We'll take videos shared via our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter), as well as submitted to our email address and G Drive at info@latrobeartcenter.org.

Please join us for #HomeStudioLAC, and let's connect by sharing beauty and creativity together!
