Art 101 for Middle School/Junior High Students

These six art classes are designed to introduce students grades 6-9 to two and three dimensional art projects that that focus on satisfying the creative and energetic mind of the more serious art student. Opening Reception: "A Walk on the Wild Side" Exhibition featuring Becky Mormack & June Drexler Robertson

This October, Latrobe Art Center presents “A Walk on the Wild Side,” an exhibition featuring the works of regional artists Becky Mormack and June Drexler Robertson. Both artists will showcase their animal artwork— from domestic pets to wildlife. The artists invite the public to an opening reception to celebrate the exhibition on Thursday, October 17, 6-8 p.m.

Each artist’s work was carefully selected by this year’s juror, The Westmoreland Museum of American Art’s director and CEO Anne Kraybill. Join us as we recognize the talent of these artists at the opening reception. Awards ceremony at 7:15 p.m.
